Within the left side bar under ACCOUNTS, select Charges. This will take you here:
In the horizontal navigation bar, select +Charge. A pop up will appear that looks like this:
Fill in the required information:
- To change the name, use the text box at the top of the screen under Default Charge.
- To select the charge type, use the dropdown menu under Type.
- Select whether or not you want this charge to be active or inactive using the dropdown menu under Active.
- Enter the value of the charge by using the text box directly under the Active dropdown menu.
- Select whether or not you want this charge to have sales tax or no sales tax by using the dropdown menu under Sales Tax.
- To add a description to this charge, use the text box at the bottom of the screen directly under the Sales Tax dropdown menu.
When you have finished creating your charge, select the green button titled +Add at the bottom of the screen.
