When an administrator approves a substitute, there are a number of settings that can be activated for the steps automatically taken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Member: Active account member that is being substituted for the active Carnival Year
Substitute: Individual that will be replacing the Member for the active Carnival Year<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click on the Settings icon (the gear)<\/em> located to the right of the search bar. This will take you here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the horizontal navigation bar, select Users. Then, Substitute Process<\/em>. This will take you here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Settings for the Substitute Process include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approval Process – Settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Streamlined Substitute Approval by Admins (allows admins to automatically approve substitutes)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Auto-approval Setting for Substitutes (allows the system to automatically approve substitutes to streamline the substitute process)

    • Submission of Substitute Requests by Leadership (enable group leaders to submit for substitute approval)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Group-Specific Substitute Deposits Active<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Automatically Approve LT Entered Substitutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Approval Process – Actions On Approval<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The settings under Actions on Approval set the actions that happen during upon approval of a new Substitute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Inactivation of Substituted Member Accounts<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Transfer of Invoices to Substitute Accounts<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Transfer of Payments to Substitute Accounts<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Transfer of Group Membership to Substitutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Transfer of Float Assignments to Substitutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Transfer of Member Tickets to Substitutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Transfer of Guest Tickets to Substitutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Account Creation Post-Substitute Approval<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Substitute Process – Switch any event group assignments<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Automatic Dues Invoice Generation
